The information we collect from Users of the platform include the following (by “User” we mean anyone using the platform to search information about Digital Learning Programmes on the Platform, and who signs into to create a username and password. This doesn’t cover the Programmes, who we will collect more information from. Details of the information we require from Programmes can be found under Guidance for Digital Learning Programmes:

  • Last Name

  • Postcode

  • Email Address

  • Username

  • Password

  • Favourites

  • Search Information

  • Marketing Preferences (if you sign up to our newsletter)

We may use this information for the following reasons:

  • for registration and to manage your account, and to allow you to access and use our Platform;

  • to communicate with you in general, including to provide information about the Platform and invitations from the the Platform community;

  • to enable us to publish your likes on the Platform community;

  • to respond to your questions and comments;

  • to measure interest in and improve our products, services, and the Platform;

  • to notify you about new courses entered onto the Platform or our partners that may be of interest to you in accordance with your marketing preferences;

  • to otherwise customize your experience with the Platform;

  • to solicit information from you, including through surveys;

  • to resolve disputes or troubleshoot problems;

  • to prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities;

  • to enforce our Terms and Conditions; and

  • as otherwise described to you at the point of collection.

We do have access to a certain amount of non-personally identifying information about you

All web sites, receive information such as which web page you came from, which type of browser you are using, and your general geographic location. When you and others use our tools to share content, we aggregate data about what pages are shared, when, and how. We also assign your web browser a unique identifier. This ID doesn't, and can't, say anything about you, it's just a random series of numbers and letters we use to distinguish users from each other.
